We are a non-profit dedicated to fostering a sustainable future through the One Health approach. We recognize the interconnectedness of animal, human, and environmental health, and work to establish and implement evidence-based policies that promote the well-being of all. Our mission is to reduce animal suffering, improve human health outcomes, and protect the environment through collaborative and holistic solutions.

Our Team

Director
Emmanuel is a physiotherapy professional with nearly half a decade of clinical experience. His discovery of effective altruism led him to pursue a greater impact beyond healthcare. Emmanuel is a volunteer member of AWL and founded Sahara Veg, a project promoting sustainable diets in Ghana to mitigate climate change and enhance both human and animal health.
He has worked on several projects, including the Community-Based Rehabilitation Programme (CBR) and Black Girls Elevation. He is passionate about sustainability, regenerative agriculture, community development, and public health.

Policy Analyst
Jane Akanzum is a passionate Development Policy Analyst and Planner with a focus on gender and social inclusion, climate change, and resource governance.
Before joining SHARED she served as a NextGen Resource Governance Leader at the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP)
As a Project Coordinator at the Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), Jane led impactful sustainability projects that empowered youth and fostered environmental stewardship. Her previous role as a Learner Facilitator with CAMFED highlights her commitment to supporting young women's education and empowerment.

Partnerships Manager
Baptista S. Gebu is a multifaceted professional with over 20 years of experience in human resources, social entrepreneurship, and international development. She is an author, columnist, lifestyle interventionist, and international public speaker, known for her work on the Future of Work, "The Africa We Want," and women's empowerment across the continent.
As a medical missionary, she serves as the Executive Director of ProHumane Afrique International. Baptista has also held leadership roles and led successful projects in organizations such as OICI, EABA Ghana, USAID Ghana, New York University’s Center for Technology and Economic Development, and Rotary International. She is an award-winning visionary behind the Knowledge Bank Project and currently serves as the global chair for Women in Rotary International (WIRI), as well as district chair for RID9104 Ghana and a member of the YALI Network.

Programme Development and Research Manager, AAA
Moritz is a generalist with a focus on data and research. He has worked in the private, public, and non-profit sector.In 2023, he went through Charity Entrepreneurship's Research Training Program. He holds a Master’s in International Relations and a Bachelor’s in International Business Studies.

Dr. Erasmus E. Agongo
Consultant, Public Health Physician | President, Ghana Public Health Association (GPHA)
Dr. Agongo is a leading public health expert with extensive experience in health policy and systems development. As President of the Ghana Public Health Association and a Foundation Fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, he plays a key role in advancing Ghana's public health landscape.
He has held influential positions, including Director of Policy Planning for Ghana Health Service, and now leads the Centre for Population Health & Nutrition Services (CEPHANS), focusing on district-level health reforms. Dr. Agongo is dedicated to impactful, community-driven health solutions and strengthening public health partnerships in Ghana and beyond.

Daniel Abiliba
Director, AWL
Daniel Abiliba holds a professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. As Director of the Animal Welfare League, he leads projects to improve animal welfare in Ghana. He currently serves as a steering committee member of Thrive Philanthropy.
In his roles at the National Food Safety Laboratory and KNUST, Daniel worked as a Veterinary Surgeon, contributing to food safety.
Daniel was one of the original participants in Animal Advocacy Africa’s training program and is committed to reducing animal suffering across Africa and beyond.

Sherif Ghali
Founder/CEO, GCYE
Sherif Ghali is a leading advocate for youth entrepreneurship in Ghana, serving as Founder/CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs and Chairperson for the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs - Africa. He is also the founder of GhaTech Solutions and TIL Limited, and has been honored as Ghana's Ambassador for Youth Entrepreneurship.
Sherif engages with key policy-making boards and collaborates with governments and development partners to shape public policies and provide support for young entrepreneurs. He is co-leading the drafting of the Ghana Startup and Innovation Bill and has raised funds for over 200 young entrepreneurs, speaking at numerous conferences across Africa.
